Adaptation and Selection: An Analysis of Zhu Guangqian's Translation of Aesthetics from Eco-translatology

Translation plays great importance in Zhu Guangqian's research life in aesthetics, which was neglected by many people for his outstanding achievements in aesthetic research. It is safe to draw the conclusion that without translation there will be no such great achievements in his aesthetics research. A probe was made to Zhu's choice of aesthetic translation and his adaptation and selection of translation criterion and translation strategies. It is found that Zhu's adaptation and selection in his translation was influenced by translational eco-environments.
