On the Prevention of Criminal Misjudged Cases from the Procuratorate Perspective

Forced confession, misidentification, wrongly used expert opinions and external pressure are key factors for criminal misjudged cases. The procuratorial department plays an important role in the prevention of criminal misjudged cases since it is responsible for both supervision and prosecution. In terms of procuratorial work, the procuratorial department needs to take some measures to prevent criminal misjudged cases, such as: strengthening evidence review, constructing evidence chain, improving the ability of reviewing and applying expert opinions, carrying out the promoting and training work of misjudged cases prevention, dissolving external pressure effectively and so on.
