Chengdu Reflected Through the Zhuci Poems:Taking Chengdu Zhuci Poems in the First Half of 20th Century as an Example

  • Sichuan Province is home to Zhuci Poems. As the center of economy, politics and culture, Chengdu enjoys a popular fame of the chanting of Zhuci Poems, of which the prime period came in the Mid-Qing Dynasty. This article, with an examination into the Zuhci Poems written in the first half of the 20th century, concludes that the local economic, historical and the folk-custom features can all be traced in the Zhuci Poems of the first half of the 20th century.
