Chengdu Reflected Through the Zhuci Poems:Taking Chengdu Zhuci Poems in the First Half of 20th Century as an Example

Sichuan Province is home to Zhuci Poems. As the center of economy, politics and culture, Chengdu enjoys a popular fame of the chanting of Zhuci Poems, of which the prime period came in the Mid-Qing Dynasty. This article, with an examination into the Zuhci Poems written in the first half of the 20th century, concludes that the local economic, historical and the folk-custom features can all be traced in the Zhuci Poems of the first half of the 20th century.
