Study on the Development Efficiency of Green Finance in Anhui Province Based on Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA)

By analyzing the current situation of green finance in Anhui Province, using the C-D production function and determining appropriate input and output indicators based on Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA), this paper takes the data of green investment, human resources for ecological protection and environmental control, pollution control index in 2006—2016 to measure the efficiency of green finance in Anhui Province. The results show that the output elasticity of green investment, human resources for ecological protection and environmental governance are both positive, the development efficiency of green finance in Anhui Province has shown an overall upward trend over the past ten years, but the efficiency values have been continuously declining in the past two years. Anhui's development of green finance is in a crucial stage. According to the result of empirical analysis, this paper further explores the shortcomings in the development of green finance and puts forward an optimal path to promote the sustainable development of green finance.
