Through studying systematically CSMAR data of M&A deals of listed companies from 2001 to 2010, the article figures out a series of M&A features about time distribution, industry distribution, operating performance and asset-liability ratio of acquiring corporations and the nature of M&A companies, etc., which lays the foundation for further research into M&A.
