Empirical Research on English Writing Teaching with the Blended Method of "Writing as A Translation" and Peer Feedback

  • Though with some limitations, peer feedback has been proved to be irreplaceable in the course of English writing.To make up such limitations as overemphasizing techniques introduction while overlooking the cultivation of competence, teaching methods of peer feedback and writing as a translation are blended.The writer has carried out an empirical study and questionnaire investigation to find students' attitude toward the blended teaching method.The results show that most of the testees are affirmative to this new pedagogy while a minority holds a negative or uncertain attitude.The study is a reference for the future researches of this method.
