A Review of Recent Ten Years Empirical Studies on Learning Styles in Foreign Language Learning

  • Learning style is one of the key variables of foreign language learner's individual difference.Learner-centered individualized teaching is one of the heated issues in foreign language teaching reform today.No breakthrough has been made in the studies of learning styles in foreign language learning despite the appearance of various theories, which objectively hinders the development of foreign language teaching research.Based on a comprehensive review of recent ten years related studies, this essay summarizes the existing problems in empirical studies on learning styles of foreign language learning and puts forward some suggestions, hoping to provide some reference for domestic foreign language educators.
