Analysis of the FDI Impacts on Import and Export Trade in Jiangsu Province—Based on the Data of 1994—2010

Since 1994, the import and export trade of Jiangsu province has increased rapidly and the introduction of foreign direct investment(FDI) has been growing.Through analysis of the data of import and export trade and FDI statistics of Jiangsu in 1994-2010, this paper finds that the import and export trade has maintained a balanced relationship with the introduction of FDI, and that the impetus to the import trade by the introduction of FDI is greater than that to the export trade, and thus it puts forward some advice to the introduction of foreign investment.
