Changes in Residents' Physical Activity after the Alteration of 'Village Inside the City' in Kunming and Development Strategies

Based on the data from documents, field investigation and observation of the residents' in 'village inside the city' of Kunming, this paper analyzes the physical activity awareness, sports consumption ability and enthusiasm of the residents after the alteration of the settlements.The results show that: 1) the construction of community sports infrastructure is neglected in the alteration; 2) the new community sports infrastructure cannot meet residents' increasing demand for physical activity after the alteration; 3) residents have high enthusiasm in physical activity but lack of professional instruction and organization.The paper also puts forward constructive advice, providing reference to promoting the public healthy development while beautifying the city landscape in the alteration of 'villages inside the city' of Kunming.
