Tourism Development Mode of Minorities Villages in Government Leading and Community Participation—A Case Study of Jina Qiang Village, Leigu Town, Beichuan, Sichuan

With the rich tourist resources in minority nationality areas, developing tourism has become one way to relieve poverty.This paper, taking the Jina Qiang Village as an instance, discusses the related issues about the settlement construction and tourism development mode in 'government leading and community participation'.As the settlement construction and tourism development in the Jina Qiang Village is concerned, it is highly recommended that the mode of 'government leading, community participation' should be taken with reference to the conditions of post-disaster reconstruction and Qiang traditions.With the government leading and overall planning, community participation and a full play of the major stakeholders, a cohesive force will be generated to promote sustainable development of the minority nationality settlement construction and tourism on the long-term interests.
