Review on Thirty-year Studies of Australian Law in China

  • This paper provides a comprehensive review and analysis on the thirty-year studies of Australian law in China from 1980 to 2010.It summarizes the stage features in the studies of Australian law: 1) from 1980 to 1989, the starting period, a few academic papers covering limited fields were published; 2) from 1990 to 1999, the developing period, academic studies increased with the trend of diversity; 3) from 2000 to 2010, the flourishing period, academic studies prosper in an all-round way, with breakthrough in the studies of Australian constitutional law and Australian legal history and the stage development in comparative studies between Chinese law and Australian law.
