Expedition to the Art Geography in Yunnan Culture

  • National culture evolves from region cultures and zeitgeist on temporal and spatial dimensions. The formation of national culture is a long process affected by natural environment, changes of times, ethnic development and etc..Geographical environment is the precondition for human existence and the cultural creation. The development and the evolution of Yunnan culture can not be separated from its unique geographical environment. The wide distribution of multiple nationalities promotes the diversity of cultural ecology;the joyful primitive ecological style of the folk culture formed in the comparatively closed geographical space and mild climate contains the original factors of modern culture;and the cultural mainstream absorbs the local marginal features of Yunnan culture. This paper is to analyze the formation of folk primitive ecological concept of Yunnan culture, its roots in unique geography, and the ways to advance its development.
