The Artistic Anthropology Value and Significance of the Huashanya Precipice Frescoes

  • Huashanya precipice frescoes derive from two origins in the painting modeling composition, and their content and form of color display. One comes from primitive religion and primal magic; and the other stems from aboriginal society and culture. So these precipice frescoes carry spiritual and material cultures of Zhuang nationality ancestors, express their strong practical utilitarian purpose on spiritual and material needs, and present their survival, existence, life condition and the developing history, all of which demonstrate artistic anthropology value and meaning.
