The Inheritance of Shi Hao's Political Model and Shi Miyuan's Authoritarian Rule as the Only Prime Minister——The Second Study on the Relation between the Shi Family and the Zhao Royal

  • The political model of Shi Hao was to get a deep trust from the crown prince as his private official and was appointed to be the prime minister after the succession. This model was inherited and developed by Shi Miyuan, Shi Hao's son. Shi Miyuan succeeded in killing Han Tuozhou, attacking the opponents and taking the position of prime minister again with the help of the crown prince Jing Xian. On the death of Jing Xian, Shi Miyuan perceived that the potential successor Hong was unfavorable to him, so he supported Gui Cheng to replace Hong. After Gui Cheng ascended the throne, Shi Miyuan was appointed as the only prime minister for nine years and his descendants received preferential treatment.
