The Dignity in and out of Marriage——Decode The Honor by Helen Garner

  • Honor and dignity are of great importance to everyone, especially to women. This essay analyzes the relationship between the divorced-wife and the new wife in The Honor by Australian female writer Helen Garner: how they abandon their pride and jealousy, how they alleviate their emotional and conceptual pressure, and how they accept each other as friends in the course of defending their own honors.
