Abstract: Huang Tingian is the founder of the Jiangxi Poem School, whose poem was greatly influenced by Du Fu. But this does not reduce his love and appreciation of Li Bai. He was one of the prominent poets who learnt Li Bai in the Song Dynasty, and his comments on Li Bai were up to 22 items, including one Ci, five verses, and sixteen essays. As a calligrapher, poet and scholar, Huang Tingjian's reception of Li Bai is of unique meaning in the history of Song Dynasty.
