Abstract:
In this paper, in view of the antenna structure and the significant and working characteristics of the random wind load in each direction, combined with the correlation of the stochastic wind, a method simulating three-dimensional wind field is presented. It can be used to simulate the stochastic wind velocity for several spots in three-dimensional wind field, which is linked with the Fourier transform. Moreover, based on the Simiu wind velocity power spectrum and the simulated method, a stochastic wind field on the parabolic antenna with a diameter of 40m is simulated. After that, the effect on the simulated results is researched when the elevation is changed. Finally, the simulated wind field is checked, the checked results show that the simulated values are satisfied with the target values, so the efficiency of the method is verified. This method can be employed to compute the wind-induced response of parabolic antennae.
