Abstract: The semantic collocations and generating mechanism of substitute object have their own logical principles. From the perspective of linguistic cognition, autonomy-dependency mechanism framework is theoretical model, which is conducted by the adjacent/similar relationship. The phenomenon of substitute object is explained by this cognitive theoretical model. The semantic collocations of substitute object have four-dimensional semantic structures. The semantic collocations of substitute object inherit the semantic basis of dependency constitutes and highlight the semantic foundation structure, return to the speaker's intention, which completes generating mechanism of the substitute object.
