Abstract:
The study investigated the relationship between reading attitude, achievement, and learners' attitude toward Jigsaw Ⅱ cooperative learning. Sixty four non-English college students from Guangdong Pharmaceutical University participated in the study. Results show that achievement is positively correlated with reading attitude while no correlation is between achievement and their attitude toward Jigsaw Ⅱ cooperative learning. Also, the data analysis indicates that there are significant differences between high and low achievers, between male and female learners across the variables such as reading attitude, achievement and attitude toward Jigsaw Ⅱ cooperative learning.
