Abstract:
Based on the theory and practice of narrative therapy, this study attempts to help clients re-author the traumatic event and internalize it into precious life experience in the procedures of re-experience, desensitization, emotional outlet, cognitive restructuring and farewell ritual.Narrative techniques of narrative, externalization, deconstruction, locating the specific life event and developing richer narratives, are applied to stabilizing clients' emotion, locating and establishing the maps of resources and re-authoring a personal experience.Resultsshow that narrative therapy makes it easier for clients to become emotionally stable and locate their intrinsic resources.
