勇敢的女权, 颠覆性的疯癫——《克里斯多夫的序曲》的主题分析

  • 摘要: 澳大利亚女作家埃莉诺.达克创作于20世纪30年代的小说《克里斯多夫的序曲》为她赢得了诸多荣誉和认可, 同时也多次被提到是一部勇敢的小说。对这一评价的理解可以是多角度的, 但仅仅从它的主题来看: 女权主义和疯癫, 这两个彼此融合得很好的主题已经足够在当时的评论界引起极大的争议了。本文试图透过这部勇敢的作品剖析达克的女权思想并呈现她关于疯癫与自由的关系的思考。

     

    Abstract: Prelude to Christopher, a novel written by Eleanor Dark in 1930s, has won her great reputation and admiration.Commented as a "brave book", this book requires multiple perspectives to get to its core.As two of the many themes involved, feminism and insanity are well merged and articulated enough in the book to arouse many controversies among critics.This thesis tries to analyze the feminist Dark and her concern with the relationship between madness and freedom.
