数据要素利用促进企业新质生产力发展的机制研究

Research on the Mechanism of Data Element Utilization in Promoting the Development of New Quality Productivity in Enterprises

  • 摘要: 新质生产力不仅是科技、产业、发展方式、体制机制和人才工作机制创新的重要支撑,也是提升中国国际竞争力的关键所在。文章以2012—2022年中国A股上市公司作为研究样本,实证考察数据要素利用对新质生产力的影响,以及ESG三要素和管理层梯度在两者关系中的作用。研究表明,数据要素利用能够显著促进企业新质生产力的发展。机制分析表明,企业环境管理和企业履行社会责任在数据要素利用对新质生产力的影响过程中具有促进性传导作用,企业自身内部治理在数据要素利用对新质生产力的影响过程中具有抑制性传导作用;管理层梯度对企业数据要素利用影响新质生产力过程中产生显著的调节作用;跨境电子商务综合试验区对新质生产力的发展具有显著的促进作用。异质性分析结果显示,企业数据要素利用水平的提升对国有企业、非重污染企业、非资产密集型企业新质生产力发展的促进作用更大。研究结论为优化企业数据要素利用环境,促进企业新质生产力发展提供一定的理论参考。

     

    Abstract: New quality productivity provides vital support for innovation in science and technology, industrial upgrading, development models, institutional reform, and talent cultivation, and it is also key to enhancing China's international competitiveness. Using data from Chinese A-share listed companies between 2012 and 2022, this paper investigates the impact of data element utilization on new quality productivity, as well as the roles of the three ESG dimensions and management gradient in this relationship. The results show that higher levels of data element utilization significantly promote the development of new quality productivity in enterprises. Mechanism analysis indicates that environmental management and corporate social responsibility exert positive mediating effects, whereas internal corporate governance has a negative mediating effect. The management age structure has a significant moderating effect on the relationship between data utilization and new quality productivity. In addition, comprehensive pilot zones for cross-border e-commerce significantly accelerate the development of new quality productivity. Heterogeneity analysis reveals that the positive impact of data element utilization is stronger in state-owned enterprises, non-heavily polluting enterprises, and non-asset-intensive enterprises. These findings provide theoretical implications for optimizing the institutional environment of enterprise data utilization and for promoting the development of new quality productivity.
