Abstract: On July 5, 2025, the Second Tianfu Forum on AI Empowering Social Science Research and Evaluation was successfully held at Xihua University in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. The forum was jointly hosted by Xihua University and the Sichuan Provincial Association of Social Science Academic Journals, and organized by Department of Academic Journal of Xihua University, the Sichuan Research Center for Academic Achievement Analysis and Application, and the Graduate School of Xihua University. With the theme "AI Empowering Philosophy and Social Sciences: Research Innovation, Communication Transformation, and Evaluation Reconstruction", the forum brought together more than 130 experts and scholars from over 20 universities and research institutes nationwide, along with 10 authors selected from over 80 paper submissions. In total, 21 invited experts and 10 paper authors presented their research at the forum. The discussions covered a wide range of topics, including the transformation of research methods in philosophy and the social sciences driven by AI; the perspectives of economics, law, sociology, and management on artificial intelligence; as well as applications of AI in intangible cultural heritage research, legal academic translation, rural issues, and cultural communication. Other topics included AI's role in empowering academic journal publishing and dissemination, and in reshaping evaluation methods and practices. Together, these discussions outlined a new landscape of interdisciplinary integration and innovation driven by AI technology.
