Study on the Conditions of Microwave Extracting Polysaccharides from Bamboo Leaves

Bamboo polysaccharide, which has obviously anti-cancer activity, is extracted from bamboo leaves as raw material.With the help of microwave-assisted extraction method, the optimum extracting conditions have been investigated through single-factor experiments combined with orthogonal test.The results show that the optimum extraction conditions: ratio of bamboo leaves to water is 1:30, the power of microwave oven is 539W, 6 minutes each time and for 4 times.The yield of bamboo polysaccharide is 0.496% under the optimum conditions.
