Abstract
In a te tragonal strong-field approximation, the optical spectra in the vicinity of substitutional Co2+ impurities in SrLaA104 compound is investigated by means of Zhao'S Semi—SCF d-orbit Wave Functions model of free Co4 ions. It is found that the transition 18830 cm-1 is nota two—electron transition but 4E(4T1, e2t25) to ground state, Good agreement between the results and the experimental findings is attained.
