Study on Feasibility of Increase in Capacity and Corrosion Prevention for Water Turbine at Huangdan Hydropower Station

By taking the Kaplan units of Huangdan Hydropower Station as an example, the study on the feasibility of increase in capacity and corrosion prevention for the runner with good hydraulic performance is conducted.This paper analyzes the issues, such as flow difference, epispastic height, water thrust and fly speed and so on before and after the technological transformation.In this way, the technological transformation of Huangdan Hydropower Station is realized, and the economic benefit of this station is improved.
