A Localization Algorithm Based on GASA and RSSI for Wireless Sensor Network

  • This paper presents a localization algorithm based on GASA(genetic and simulated annealing)algorithm and RSSI(relative received signal strength)in wireless sensor network. First we collect the communication information and the evaluated distance between nodes in the wireless network using the RSSI measure and have precedence over the anchor nodes. Second, we consider the locating problem as an optimization process to obtain the position of the unknown nodes positioning using genetic and simulated annealing algorithm. The simulation experiment shows that the proposed location algorithm has a higher accuracy.
