Numerical Simulation of Flow Field for Cars Based on Fluent

  • In this article, a three dimensional solid model of Mini Car is established by using Unigraphics. First, the model is imported for pre-processing by software Gambit, then the computing domain is gridded, and three-dimensional numerical simulation of steady flow was carried out for the car model by using CFD of software Fluent. At last, the three-dimensional velocity and pressure field for the car model are obtained.The approach provides a visual basis for the best aerodynamic design of cars.
