Study on the Development of Playback System for Automobile Road Test Based on GPS and IMU by Using Visual Basic

A playback system for automobile road test, which can replay the dynamic parameters of an automobile, is developed based on DGPS and IMU by using Visual Basic 6.0 in this paper. Firstly, the architecture of the hardware of the automobile road test system based on DGPS & IMU is introduced. Then a set of software, which is used for replaying the records of the automotive road tests by displaying the data as plots, vehicle heading and track is developed based on the analysis of the requirements of automobile road test. Finally, the application of the automobile road test system is implemented with the details of the automobile road test. The functions and the results are shown by the developed automobile road test playback system.
