Research on Pantograph Active Control Strategy for Reducing the Pantograph-catenary Wear

In order to reduce the wear on the pantograph and catenary and extend the use time of them while ensuring the quality of current collection, a kinds of pantograph active control strategy is proposed. It is based on the friction and wear with electric current theory. The strategy is characterized by testing the wear of catenary and controlling the contact pressure. The overall design of the pantograph active control system is considered. The control system hardware design and the control logic of the pantograph-catenary contact pressure are elaborated. The study has important practical significance for our country's active control by the electricity from the bow type design exploration to realize application.
