Application of Permanent-Magnet Bias Radial Magnetic Bearing in Magnetically Suspended Reaction Flywheel System

  • Aiming at the defects of present radialmagnetic bearing of magnetic circuit coupling, the configuration of a new permanent-magnet bias radial hybrid magnetic bearing was designed. The structure feature and working principle of the bearing were introduced. The electrom agnetism was analyzed to deduce the mathem atical model of the magnetic bearing and the parameter design methods by using a equivalent magnetic circuit method and finite elementmethod(FEM). The research results show that this magnetic bearing can avoid magnetic circuit coupling. Therefore, the control performance of systemsis improved.
