Abstract
To optimize wheel cover drawing process, the drawing forming of automobile wheel cowling was numerical simulated on Dynaform. We designed orthogonal experiments about various process parameters, which influence the forming quality, such as blank holder force, punch velocity, die clearance, friction coefficient and draw bead restraining force. And we comprehensively weighted evaluated the maximum thinning rate and wrinkling rate. We analyzed the range of three kinds of comprehensively weighted score with three different combinations of combination weighted coefficients and found out the optimal combinations of weighted coefficients and factor level. The results show that the quality of the drawing forming can be improved if the processing parameters are optimized.
