Abstract: This paper discusses the words, sentences, rhetoric, artistic language features and creation in Meng Haorart's poetry. It points out that the language of Meng's poetry is novel in plainness, dedicate with clumsy appearance, cleverly skillful at handling collocation and syntax. His poetic language highlighted the features of times and elegant expressions in Tang Dynasty, combined narration with passion, and vigor, grace with plainness. Meng Haoran was a great language master in the early Tang Dynasty, significantly influenced the development of Tang poetry.
