Abstract: Along with the economic and social development, there are sequential variables in the sustainable utilization and management of urban water resources. Among them, the water safety; flooding in urban area and sewerage treatment are the most important factors.Referring to the new ideas of adaptive stewardship from advanced countries, this article analyzes the problems using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method model with the statistics of recent years.It delivers some proposals for policies of enforcing systematic management; adopting low impact development; securing water safety; speeding up urban reservoirs to enhance sustainable utilization and management of urban water resources and to promote the cities' capabilities of adapting and transforming.
