Abstract: The loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) technique is a novel isothermal method of nucleic acid amplification. It has quite a few advantages such as high specificity, high sensitivity, rapid reaction and simple operation. It is applied in the detection of some pathogens and food pathogenic bacteria. This paper describes the latest advance of the research on the testing of pathogenic microbe in food by LAMP technology.
