Abstract: In view of the actual demands for mine monitoring terminal's performance, such as, real-time, low power, resistance of interference, adaptation of harsh environment, this paper put forward a design of mine safety monitoring system based on embedded and wireless communication technology, and analyzed the embedded information terminal's architecture in detail.Through the co-design of terminal's hardware and software based on Linux and ARM S3C2410, various functions of the system were realized, and valuable reference was provided for the establishment of better mine safety monitoring systems.
