Abstract: In order to improve the output and quality of sintered ore, combined the exact situations of the 105 m² sintering machine in the second sintering workshop, this paper analyzed three aspects of prodectiion, such as sintering raw materials, sintering operatiions and devices. Methods of adding the hydrated lime and quick lime in flux, sintering with high basicity, controlling the content of FeO, sintering with low speed and thick layer, controlling the sinter's layout and the igniting operatiion, mathing the return mine reasonably and maintaining or changing the equipment were put to use. The experimental data indicated that the drum index, the uniformity of the grain composition, the yield and the strenght of the sintered ore were improved, and the output and quality of the sintered ore increased as well.
