Abstract: The authors first define the distance measure among fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy sets and give two operations, then prove that the two formulas are the distance measure among fuzzy number intuitionistic fuzzy sets and apply them to a same example. Finally, the first formula is applied to a practical issue.
