Abstract: The significance, function, and basic concept of cultivating the innovative talents were described in the previous article "Thoughts, methods and pathways on innovative talents cultivation (一) ". On the basis of that article, the thoughts, methods and pathways on innovative talents cultivation are to be discussed from the following aspects. (1) To cultivate the students' good thinking and promote their innovation ability through the easy training methods of"a pencil, a piece of paper and a piece of rubber". (2) To improve the students' ability of innovation of science and technology through the provision of more innovative research opportunities and also to cultivate students with innovative talents of the society through strengthening entrepreneurship education.
