Abstract:
Tissue elasticity has important significance for clinic diagnosis. Generally, tissue elasticity is obtained from measuring vibration displacement of tissue which is under external force. Therefore, the measurement of tissue vibration displacement is very important. In this paper, one of TDE(Time Delay Estimation) estimators, normalized cross-correlation (NCC), was used to estimate the soft tissue time delay. Usually, signal was divided into many windows, and then NCC was adopted to calculate the matching of window between reference and delayed signal. The maximum value of the cross correlation denotes the time delay of the signals, and the tissue vibration displacement was obtained. The experimental result shows that the proposed method is feasible to estimate the tissue vibration displacement which is basically consistent with the real value.
