Abstract: In order to improve the efficiency of urban rail transit design, standardize the design process, and improve the accuracy of engineering quantities calculation, this paper designed and developed an urban rail transit system, which can realize the functions of quantity counting for urban rail transit and automatic drawing of engineering drawings by means of Visual C# &. NET platform. The system had standard, normative information input interface and accurate, detailed output, which avoided large error of manual calculation, and greatly improved urban rail transit design efficiency, thus obtained a certain technical and economic effect.
