Abstract:
Diesel engines are widely used in automotive transport and engineering equipment, with advantages such as high thermal efficiency. However, with the increase of automobile ownership, diesel engine exhaust pollution of the atmosphere is becoming more and more serious. Especially, both the pollution of the atmospheric environment and human body carbon soot particulate matter have a great health hazard. Therefore, diesel engine elimination of carbon soot particles has become a top priority. This paper focuses on the oxidative removal of carbon smoke particles from diesel engines, and takes the oxidative removal of carbon smoke by precious metal catalysts as the theme, and classifies the application of the technical means of oxidative elimination of carbon smoke by precious metals, and analyses the technical methods currently used to improve the activity and to decrease the cost of precious metal catalysts by focusing on the three technological contents of "precious metal nano-sized catalysts, precious metal loaded catalyst carriers and precious metal composite catalysts". The current technological methods for improving the activity of precious metal catalysts and reducing the cost of precious metals are analyzed. Finally, the main problems of precious metal catalysts in the oxidation and elimination of carbon soot in this field and the future development direction are proposed.
