The Western Great Development Strategy Under High-Quality Development: Implementation Effect and Breakthrough Path

The Western Great Development Strategy is a major regional development strategy in China, high-quality development has put forward higher requirements for the western region, and the Western Great Development Strategy has also been given a new historical mission. This paper analyzes the implementation effect of the Western Great Development Strategy, provides a theoretical perspective by systematically sorting out relevant literature, and also reveals the achievements and problems of the Western Great Development Strategy from the perspective of data, the literature perspective and data analysis mutually confirm and support each other. The research shows that since the Western Great Development Strategy, the economic strength of the western region has been significantly enhanced, the industrial structure has been more optimized, the infrastructure has been more perfect, the people's living standard has been continuously improved, the poverty alleviation has won an overall victory, the ecological environment has been significantly improved, and the opening up pattern has been constructed speedily. However, there are still problems such as unreasonable industrial structure, insufficient innovation ability, and widening gaps between the east and the west in some fields. On this basis, based on the new development concept of "innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing", the breakthrough paths of the Western Great Development Strategy in the new era are proposed to provide references for the western region to achieve high-quality development.
