Abstract: Based on the characteristics of rural development in Jiangsu Province, this thesis constructs the evaluation index system of rural ecological revitalization and rural sustainable development, which comprehensively evaluates the effectiveness of rural ecological revitalization and the situation of rural sustainable development in Jiangsu Province, and further explores the linkage effect between the two through the gray correlation method. The results show that the effectiveness of rural ecological revitalization and the situation of rural sustainable development in all regions of Jiangsu Province generally see an upward trend, and the degree of correlation between the two in all regions is relatively high, all above 0.530. Based on these conclusions, this thesis puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to promote rural sustainable development from four aspects: industrial development, income level, education investment and ecological health.
