Purpose/meaning The purpose of this paper is to improve innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, promote people's deep participation in innovation and entrepreneurship, and create an upgraded version of double innovationin Sichuan.

Method/process Taking incubator and public creation spaceof Sichuan as the research object, this paper makes an in-depth study on the development status and development path of double innovation incubator in Sichuan through literature review, data statistics and theoretical analysis.

Results/conclusions The development trend of double innovation incubator in Sichuan is positive. However, bottlenecks still exist such as uneven regional development, poor connotation development, imperfect investment and financing system, low-quality service and service capacity, unhealthybusiness performance in hatching enterprises, low degree internationalization, and insufficient policy support. The paper makes some suggestions to upgrade high-quality development of Sichuan's double incubator: toperfect policies, strengthen support, optimize distribution, develop multi-model brand specialization, and promote the formation of a full-chain incubation system.
